Morocco teenagers arrested for posting kissing photo on social media.

A Moroccan teenager’s boy and girl are under arrest for posting a photo of themselves kissing online. The duo - aged 15 and 14 - had their picture taken outside their school by a 15-year-old friend in the north-eastern town of Nador and posted on Facebook.
They were detained for violating public decency after a local newspaper printed the photo, causing public strong reaction. A complaint lodged with the police resulted in an investigation. The three teens are due to appear before a juvenile court next week. The issue has also been taken up by Islam preachers in several mosques in Nador. They have advised parents to keep a closer eye on their children to avoid a recurrence.

The co-founder of the Alternative Movement for Individual Liberties (MALI), Ibtissame Lachgar, has opened a campaign to post one million imitator photos online in support of the teens. She has already posted a photo of herself kissing a male fellow activist on Facebook.
However, comments on the case on Facebook and Twitter differ wildly. Some criticize the police's reaction, advising them to concentrate on more serious crimes. Others blame people of double standards for reprimanding a young duo for practicing what they see on TV. Other internet users have called the teenagers names and few blame the teenager's parents for immoral nurture.
