Animal cruelty: Man sent to prison ...... neighbours' cat

A 52-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 weeks in prison for attempting to kill his neighbours' cat in Hereford.
Karl Dyke, of Escley Drive, admitted the attack on the Siamese cat in July.
Hereford Magistrates' Court heard Michael and Tracey Lawrence, who live next door to Dyke, heard their cat Coralie in distress and saw the defendant carrying the pet away. The cat escaped and survived after its owners intervened.

  1. Hmm. i am truing to relate to his story. its quite unfortunate. Well hte developed countries equate pets to humans. Any attempt to inflict pain on their pets is seen as cruel. They even bring their pets to church for blessings by the Priest. This goes to show u hw much value they attach to their pets.
